Well... almost
Bumped into this gem today had to add to the fleet.
Apparently the original owner passed and it was sitting in a storage shed for last 6 years. Picked it up with 190 miles , got it home with 221 miles . First time riding the 300 but was impressed at the speed over my 250.
I've been on the hunt for a white one ! Better to be lucky than good .

My barn find. The Lambretta had sat in this garage for thirty years. Only 2200 miles on the odometer, but it took some effort to get it running. Then Boris couldn't get the clutch adjusted properly, so it moved with him to Sanford. Hopefully, I will get it back one day.......

Me too, but he may have been happy when he got the scooter and went with a smile thinking about the ride he was going to be taking in the morning.

I know I would be thinking about changing out somethings that might look too good to replace. Like tires and drive belt. Age does things to rubber parts. I should know I am just getting a bike back to road service and had a spill in the driveway Monday when I hit the front brake and the tires slipped out from under me. Now this bike has set for 20+ years so there is a bit more age on the rubber but still I would be very careful with a scooter with 6 to 7 year old tires. That scooter is too nice to chance damage from a accident due to old tires.

Other things I'd be doing would be changing fluids, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid just to be safe.

Nice find! That one looks brand new. Not even dusty.

This is my last barn find from back in 2003. Took a year and a wheel barrow of cash to get it back in riding shape. Laughing emoticon

I actually like the floor mat. But it can scratch the paint when dirt and sand get in between the paint and the mat.
