What are people's thoughts on handlebar end indicators on a Rally 180? I think they may have been mandatory in the US but I'm in Australia where I understand that prior to a certain year they don't have to be installed. I am restoring a 1969 Vespa Rally 180.

In VIC it's June 1975, not sure about NSW but would have to be somewhere around the same time.
If you don't want them the job's right.

I didn't want them at first but now I have bar ends. Not very good in bright sunlight but in dim conditions they are fairly easy to see. The best looking indicators imo.

Thanks Ginch, do you have a picture of yours?

Bar end indicators - how I fitted mine

I've found the spring-back mechanism to work really well. Replaced leds since first doing it but it's been relatively trouble-free.

thanks mate, good to see and appears really well done. Will study very closely as we get to the re-wiring time.
