Modern Vespa

Does anyone know how to take apart the headset. My scooter was knocked over and i need to change the left brake handle.

Is this difficult to do ? I did take apart the headset of a Vespa Sprint without much difficulty.

Any tips or 'what to look for' advise would be welcome.

Separating the two plastic pieces is for me, the biggest PITA on the bike. The manual gives a half-assed description of how to do it. Their picture points to the wrong area. I ground an allen wrench flat like a screwdriver and pulled the plastic catch out from the inside to release them. When I push a small screwdriver in the slot, it won't release for me.

Thanks ... i may try to play with it but will prob give it to the dealer to swap out the brake lever. Thanks for the pic , H.

Decided not to mess with it this time. The dealer told me it was about 30 minutes to swap out the break lever. Hope he doesn't break the tabs and sticks to the 30 min charge.
