I even contacted them to see what the scam was - they just asked me to send them my email address so they could send me details (they never did)

Probably just an email collection scam.

I have nothing to do with this scoot. Just that it was mentioned in our club email group several weeks ago. No one has jumped on it yet.

This one was originally $2599 and now $2399. Seems like a good deal, though don't know when it was last ridden.

The Denver Cl listing says "calls only" and there is a tel # to call. So I would hope one would call and see what they have to say, if they want your email thereafter then you know it is crap, if on the other hand they said you could come to a location to check the vehicle out etc...
Otherwise as the saying goes, "If it is too good to be true, then it is not true"
