Modern Vespa

Right, I've been doing my own servicing etc on my scoot in my garage. After a few years I've accumulated a mixture of coolant, brake fluid, oil, engine degreaser, brake cleaner etc.

So I've just checked online on how and where to dispose and came across this: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/hazardous-waste-segregation-and-mixing#mixing-of-hazardous-waste-is-prohibited and it seems I've now got an illegal cocktail of hazardous fluids.

So, can anyone suggest any Environmentally safe (and legal) ways to dispose of this cocktail?

Don't know how things work there in UK- but if it is separated out where the coolant ( which would contain/mix with the brake fluid and maybe the degreaser) and drained off the bottom into a separate container- leaving the oil, brake clean mix. Then call city or county recyclers to see what they say. I thunk no one will take it in a single container like that though.

Guess I should have read your included link.(sorry). Looks like A real problem. I would still call them and ask what could be done.

Take it to your local recycling centre and ask them - they'll probably say just empty it into the waste oil container. All sorts of crap goes in there anyway.
