What better way to make sure the country's productivity goes to zero!

Similar guidelines/rules as reality scooter tag, but your image source is Google Image Search. Change the file name, so there aren't clues; one day maximum time before the clue or a link to the background photo is provided.

Must be your model scooter, doesn't have to be your scooter (erasing the background can be challenging for some - so the factory ones are OK. Perhaps one of our experts can post clean, bike only images?)

This could be our version of that stupid game show involving actors, a script, and a bunch of snotty little kid fifth grade actors..... Are You Smarter than....

Tacky locations are great (Vegas in the '80's), improbable are good (White House lawn) and places like the surface of the moon and cartoon locations should also be considered. Use your judgment on ease of identifying the image.

Not looking for classic artwork, or images that look exactly real, this is more for fun and boredom relief, rather than photohack training.

While not quite the 1903 Wright Flyer, their gliders are somewhat ( ) historic.

Is this a formal "tag you're it" contest, or just a general free-for-all photoshopping contest? In other words, do you have to be designated "It" to post?

Tag you're it game. Gotta post to play, and play to post. No purchase necessary.

There's already enough sites for 'my computer enhanced/modified photo is better than your computer enhanced/modified photo.'

This can allow all of us to play together - internationally

Doesn't whatshername need to be on a GTS in Roman Holiday?

I recognize the scenery, but am not anywhere near my machine with PS until Monday - that's funny btw, and exactly what I was looking for.

Monochrome/B&W is NOT required- it was a 'I'm too lazy/tired to fix,' it error for the first one. Color would be a good clue for the most recent image.

The correct search word for images.google.com is actually on my license plate (although made deliberately hard to read). The correct image is on the first page of returned results.

It is pretty close though, even if your scale is... ummm, a bit off.

Sorry, Aaron, I'd help you if I could, but I haven't figured out how to do that myself. Besides, it seems like part of the fun of this game is not just that your scoot is in the pic, but HOW. Is it small and hard to find like a Where's Waldo? Is it ginormous (egantic?), or is it the Goldilocks version - to scale and just right? How it relates to the other objects in the photo would be fun to play with, too. Is William Tell shooting an arrow at an apple on the top case? Stuff like that. So, I think finding the photo is really only the beginning.
But what do I know? It's not my game, and as yet there's no rulebook (sorry, couldn't resist). Gonna hafta get a ruling from the judges.

That's a picture from one of the Russian Venera missions, unmanned probes that successfully landed on Venus and beamed back pictures of the Venutian surface. Because the Russian missions happened in the late 70s and early 80s (during the cold war), American kids (like me) are almost totally oblivious to the fact that any probes at all ever landed on Venus, let alone sent back pictures.

To be fair, the US sent two probes to Venus as well, and at least one of them actually landed. I've never seen any pictures from the US missions, through.

Nowadays, it seems like we have a collective hole in our memory of space exploration when it comes to Venus.

You can download Adobe Photoshop and use it free for 30 days at their website - then you read their help section and it ends up being pretty quick.... unfortunately it is addictive, and you'll need to buy a real copy on the 31st day.

Either of them.
