SLO-town = San Luis Obispo Oscillator and others are meeting in San Jose and riding down. here's the map of the route As I am in VA and don't know the area that well, I traced the map in Google and tried the valleys I found- no luck. So Oscillator, care to give some out of towners another hint? |

the hwy in question goes down a rift valley past a national monument consisting of half a volcano. The other half is ~250 miles south.

The hwy has to be Airline Hwy as it's the only one that passes a national monument (Pinnacles). But I can find no valleys listed near it, and I have googled all the valleys along the route. (and by the way do you know how many valleys are in California - so many that I think you need to rename it to Valleyfornia) |

L from Jersey wrote: For MessyColoring, this one should be much closer to home: I lived up there when they first opened the Hirshhorn, we'd go there a lot (great place for a first dated) and then head over here for some shopping (well more like window shopping) but there were some nice restaurants that weren't that expensive. Oh man and Commander Salamander now that was a fun store. |

Anyone do this ride?
It's enough to make your head spin. Quick and easy because I have to run to a meeting.

This area of Washington's name is derived from the names of two, formerly segregated area elementary schools-the older, all-black Thomas P. Morgan Elementary School (now defunct) and the all-white John Quincy Adams Elementary School.
