It is a tough one but I think I know where you were. If it is any help, I suspect in a couple of years everyone will be able to get a "bird's eye view" of the location.

Yep, the Scioto Audubon is not "Officially" open yet, but parts are usable as they work on the bird sanctuary. This is the Whittier Peninsula where the old Lazaras warehouse used to be and the City currently has its impound lot. There are parts that have been there for a long time such as the old Lower Scioto Boat ramp in my original pic. It really is a gem and when complete will be a significant attraction for downtown. If you didn't get to ride down there. I'd recommend it anyway. It is a real treat and prelude to what will surely be a world class park. (not that any of the Columbus Metro Parks are that shabby).

Here's your new tag. Just wanted to wet your appetite, if it's too difficult I'll post another. There were two buses when I got there, mostly students.

This was a gorgeous tag. I can definitively tell you that this location is not Highbanks, not Pickerington Ponds, not Whetstone, not Northmoor Park, and not Tuttle Park.

It *is* the Olentangy River Wetland Research Park on Dodridge. Talk about a gem in the concrete jungle...this is it. I've never been there before, and both the journey to the tag and the visit were worth every minute. This was tons of fun.

No doubt about that. It was gorgeous this morning. I got there just after daybreak, and it was still misty over the water. I am definitely going back when I have a little more time and when there are some people around to answer questions.

That was a tough one but like I said, I loved getting out and just riding around. Highbanks was beautiful yesterday lol. And I learned a few things about riding while I was fighting the wind on 23.

I have to get out and come up with a hard one this time.

I haven't forgotten. Tomorrow when the weather clears, I'll get the next tag.

I know exactly where that picture was taken. It's just off Tom Osborne Way, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Pretty close to the interstate. Maybe I'm a little off. I better tighten up my circle of observance.

Thanks! The new scoot, if it all checks out, is a 2003 Platinum Silver ET4. We're going to visit it on Saturday and see if it's destined to be mine. Evidently it was purchased and barely ridden. Just not her thing, I guess.

No, I didn't go to Nebraska this morning although it felt like it. It was, uh...exhilarating.

Most horses like to run around the farm, but the only way these guys are going anywhere is with the help of a crane and a truck.

They are in front of an apartment complex called the Farms on Hayden Run Road south of Tuttle Crossing Mall. If you miss the turn to the mall and keep going, they are on the south right before you go under the 270 bridge.

That wasn't my first pick for this round, but the pics I wanted to use didn't turn out well. I didn't have time to go back out and I was enjoying the hot coffee way too much to leave anyway. When no one responded earlier I figured that either no one was playing any more or someone had gotten it.

Yes, we plan to be at Stauf's on Tuesday. I don't know if I will have my own ride at that point or not, but at the very least I will take omets to Jeni's so I can meet whoever else comes. I'm looking forward to it, either way. 8)

This was a cool spot in Dublin, by the Dublin North Pool. I can't wait until next spring/summer. Owen will love the fountains in front of the sculpture (not in pictures). This must be a pretty nice neighborhood. I saw an Aston-Martin Vanquish turning out as I was turning in...

The deal fell through for the Grey ET4. Once we got the photos, it was clear the damage was more extensive than the seller had let on. He was unwilling to lower his price. It looks like the scoot was hit by a car at low speeds(s) on the right side, with damage also to the front left, it was never clear whether he had repaired some of the damage to the rear left. There should have been some, unless something like a leg was there to protect the scoot... Needless to say, the price was too high and the information we needed was not forthcoming. So we look again... Anyone looking to sell? We are in the market....

Just an FYI - you probably already know, but there was a helicopter crash last night. One of the City's five helicopters went down at the Whittier Peninsula.

If you were standing at the boat ramp and observation deck you would have had a front seat to the crash site. It may have been in OldHighway7 picture and would have been just to the south (right) in my picture.

It is a testament to the pilot's skill and training that they both survived.

We were headed down there this past Sunday and did not make it due to the cold. I want to see that place.
