Just came across this new kit from Parmakit. They've been making a 200-ish cylinder for the 150 cases for a while but this is meant to be a new design. The case needs to be machined to fit it as the bore is 66mm rather than the usual 177 size of 63mm. Interesting.

Not that it's not interesting, but at that point, why not just throw a P200 motor in the bike and really go to town?
You'd want to have aluminum welded onto the cases to have enough mating surface, too, I'd think. Is there some non-US regulatory benefit to having a motor with a 150 VIN on it versus a 200 VIN, even if it's actually 206c or more, asuming a long stroke crank? |
