Hi all-
Putting my GT200 back together. Having problems getting the glove box release linkage to work with the ignition switch. Any tricks to lining things up?
Thanks, Bill D

New ones have a few elastic bands hooked around the bottom toggle to the left of the fork tube... black toggle bottom left of your pic heading toward the sticker.

Ended up putting a bit of masking tape on it to hold it position. Worked great!
All buttoned up and going for a ride.....

Good for you. I have used the masking tape technique before.

Glad you problem is solved.

Rubber band
Glad you didn't get in trouble by closing the glove box with it not engaged, like I did. that was a pain in the butt. Rubber band is the best mod for a glovebox release that is missing one.

I did have it not work. That's part of why I was doing it again. Also found a radiator hose that'd touched my PM header and needed replacement
