I ordered an exhaust from them on a Sunday and didn't get a confirmation. Wednesday, it was on my doorstep. Great prices, fast delivery. What more can a cheap bastard like me want?

At least they refunded my money when they shipped me a dented exhaust when I gave them a shot a few weeks back, and didn't try to wriggle out of it or anything.

They never did respond to any contact after that, though. I wish I could say my experience was great, but it was pretty neutral. I didn't lose money, but I didn't get the part I wanted, either.

I'm always happy to give my money to smaller vendors, and support businesses that seem to deserve it. I wish my experience had been more positive, but it just wasn't. S'ok. It's just business, and I don't take these things personally. Thankfully, there are always plenty of businesses willing to take my money...

I'll keep on wrenchin' regardless. I'm glad your orders worked out well for you guys...

Me too. Motovista very kindly sent me a replacement expansion bolt for my windscreen free of charge after my dumb self lost one. I've always had great service from Scooterpartsco and find their pricing very competitive.

That was actually my issue with them, no notification parts were shipped.
Everyone else emails a tracking number, from them NOTHING.

He's CLOSED on Sun and Mon. A certain person should think before they post that , their stuff didn't get there fast enough. Reply from a different thread since it's been locked. Cheap fast delivery and hard to get parts. 8)

Operating a business today is tough. Competing with E-Bay, Amazon, etc is a real challenge. If the little guy is to survive, give him some time to adjust to the market demands.
Not much I have ever needed for the bikes has been a life or death emergency. I once waited 18 months for a reflector from Piaggio. Pissed me off but I survived and so did the bike.

Whenever we ship an order, an email is sent to the customer informing them. If you're not getting these emails, they are either in your spam folder or we got back something to this effect (I have edited out personal information):

Subject: Order Update #6$$5
Scooterpartsco.com Order Number: 6%%5

Detailed Invoice: link removed

Date Ordered: Monday 14 August, 2017

Your order has been updated to the following status:
New status: SHIPPED

Please reply to this email if you have any questions.

This email address was given to us by you or by one of our customers. If you feel that you have received this email in error, please send an email to scooterpartsco@gmail.com

This e-mail is sent in accordance with the US CAN-SPAM Law in effect 01/01/2004. Removal requests can be sent to this address and will be honored and respected.

This is probably someone who would appreciate an email to let them know the status of their order. We also get bounce backs that make no sense, it just says that the other computer refuses to talk to our server.

If it's a phone order, we don't have the ability to send an email, because we are using the house account to process the order, but any online order does receive this email, as well as any updates or out of stock notifications. Most of these seem to come back from comcast and aol, but I'm sure there are others as well. If you pay with paypal and log back in and find the order is still in your cart, paypal didn't redirect you back to us and we don't have a record on the site of the order. We can process it manually, but with all our business on ebay and the site, we do sometimes need to be told the order is there.

I only ordered once from Scooterpartsco.com. The order came in a timely manners, was well packaged, the price was better than I found anywhere else and I was satisfied with my on-line interaction. Just sayin'.

Motovista has been a strong scooter advocate, dispenses good advice on lots of topics and is quite generous with his time on ModernVespa. I don't know if Motovista is the owner or an employee but I'll continue to support Scooterpartsco.com, if for no other reasons, to keep him motivated to continue his ModernVespa interactions. Thanks Motovista!

I've also ordered from Scooterwest and had a similarly good interaction. The person I dealt with at Scooterwest has moved on and I hope the person that replaced him will be just as helpful when I need them.

I don't usually do reviews of businesses (good or bad) but since the negative post a few days ago, I thought I'd add my voice of support.

Cheers.
Miguel

It was i that open the thread. I apologize it was taking the wrong way. I didn't receive any acknowledgement that my order was process, and my email went unanswered. Was just trying to figure out what's going on. They did contact me and my item WAS mailed out the next day. They did nothing wrong. Most likely an Email problem and my fault for jumping the gun. Again sorry for the misunderstanding. They did everything right and I have absolutely no problem with them and would support them in the future.

Seriously, if you order something online, you can't expect it to all work like Amazon. I buy a lot of vinyl through Discogs and I often find it can take up to four days before I hear anything about my order. eBay can also deliver a similar experience.

I have heard nothing but awesome stuff about scooterpartsco!

Maybe they were fucked off because you slammed them on youtube and here before giving them any chance to fix the problem. Just a wild guess.

Z that would do it. However he wouldn't go there. I had to wait for a year to get a replacement window fan and even then they discontinued the model. Livid emoticon Livid emoticon Nobody contacted me and i finally got a different model. So hopefully i'll get it before winter.

"Slammed?" If by "slammed" you mean what I actually wrote... . Being negative really isn't my style. Life is just too short for that sort of thing. I'm happy with how things turned out, and life goes on!

Cheers.

It's hard to un-read something after the shit hits the fan. One should be careful with words nowadays. They are powerful and when they convey a clear infraction of the Forum's guidelines it is really too little too late for even apologies.
