Should not have paid attention to weatherman. Could have planned for a Sunday morning CLEAR SKY ride before folks heading home.

If it does become a tradition some may not be welcome to partake. 😳

I’m glad everyone enjoyed their time. I hate I couldn’t make even though it was so close to me. Love the pictures and the ice cream looked great.

Just got a call from scottsbough AL finest and they are looking for an individual who has been seen around town taking pictures of kids eating ice cream and they want to ask some questions. I have no idea how they got ahold of me, maybe it was a leak from the group that was there.

There was a leak? That sounds like a big problem, since Midnight Rider wasn't there to fix it...

I think a congressional investigation is in order.

Things happen. Don't live with regrets on decision. We missed you but if you had ridden with us you would have regretted not riding cannonball. You definitely didn't wimp out like some did.

Heal well, ride again soon, and make your hotel reservation for fall gathering.

No real regrets Just one lapse of concentration caught me. The leg is finally improving. Not good yet, but better.

This fall is busy. I am committed to two weeks in Spain, plus one in Switzerland.

I enjoy Wisconscoot too, and that is the weekend after Spain.

The Fall Gathering follows that.

It is a lot, but I would like to do all three.

I know most of you didn’t make this outing, but the Smoke House near the motel we stayed in that year burned to the ground this week.

Hotel and restaurant one business separated by a one lane driveway. We could see smoke from our house. Major, iconic business in this small town. Always a line of motorcycles in front of restaurant at lunch time. Luckily saved hotel and it is already back open. They will rebuild restaurant, but the history in the building cant be replaced.
