I have a paint review video I need to post. All my other videos are merged videos. Today I couldn't merge so I checked help and it said I needed to pay $15 for that service
I'm not sure but I think they want payment for videos 15 min. or longer.
If we have to pay to post DIY videos, there's going to be a lot less of them.

They want you to pay to give them something so you can make money from it?

It's a tried and true formula AFK.

There are companies that will publish your book, for a fee.
There are companies that will sell your invention, for a fee.
There are companies that will find financing for your project, for a fee.
There are companies that will help your business finance anyone, for a fee.

They don't make their money off what they tell you they are going to do for you, they make it off the fee. If they were told the real business model upfront, most people would call these companies a scam.

It's probably going to turn into a monthly fee that will be harder to get out of than a Jack LaLannes Gym membership.

So now that the rules have changed, figure out a new way to monetize your content.

No good deed goes unpunished.

You know how much data center space costs? Empty cabinet in our data center is $2,400 a month. That is without power, think with power it's over $3,000. Then you have to buy bandwidth and the equipment to go in the cabinets. Before Google bought them YouTube had 20-30 cabinets in a data center I was working in and that was just one data center, they are in multiple around the country. Think that was back around 2008.
