I have had my vespa gt125l 2003 for about 4 months now and it wasn't running right so i have stripped the carb down to find the diaphragm is badly damaged hence the reason it was running bad.
A previous owner has replaced the carb for a different one I am not 100% sure on what model it is off could anyone please help me as I can't find this part anywhere.
I will post pictures underneath
Thanks

Did your scoot have problems using that carb when it was running?

Keihin CVK carbs are used on a lot of different model Vespas so that might be the correct one for a GT125.

Last time I checked for just the rubber diaphragm I couldn't find a shop that sold just it. You had to buy the diaphragm and slide.

However, if you go to YouTube you'll see videos of people teaching you how to replace the rubber on motorcycle carbs (sadly no Vespas) so maybe there is a one off that will fit???

I think the 302 is the carb off the Beverly 250. Smaller main jet than the GTS 125 carb, which is the 305. We sell the diaphragms here, and I've got a friend in the UK who buys from the supplier I get them from. I sent him an email to see if he sells them. If he does, I'll get you his information. If he doesn't have them, and you can't find one locally, it shouldn't cost more than $15 to ship one.

Suggests that if the previous owner fitted a 108 main jet you are good to go? Number is engraved on it.

Hi I have found this carb on eBay it looks identical to mine apart from the numbers stampped on the side would you have any ideas if it would fit? Its only £10 eaven if it needs full clean i can easyly do that and change my jets onto it as long as it works thats the main thing. Thanks

Motorvista gave you some very good advice and went out of the way to find information. I'd try working with him.

Yes i understand that but the reason I have looked for a full carb is that mine has been cracked and repaired i I don't fully trust it. If it was cheap to get a diaphragm then obviously I would but as that carb is cheap thats why I was asking. I am thankful for everyone's help bealeve me I am

There is a lot to be said for getting a new carb and being done with it.

And no, you can't just switch the jets because one carb (the 305) is cheaper than just about all the rest. There are other differences.

I just took a carb off a Beverly 250. It had a 100 main, and I was sure it was a 302. I've got it at the shop, going to have another look. According to the manual, it should have been a 307, but I know it was the original carb.
