Hello fellow MP3 riders! Long time Lurker, first time poster.

I'm a 2008 MP3 500 owner, have been for a couple of years now... I finally got up enough nerve to say hello to everyone here instead of just reading other people's posts and trying to gather knowledge on my own.

There was an ulterior motive for this newfound bravado of course, and that's why I'm finally posting for some help and looking to become part of the online community. There are lots of knowledgeable people here and since I'm the only MP3'er around here it might not make me feel so isolated!

So I brought the bike out of indoor winter storage (the winters up here in the Canadian Prairies don't allow for year round riding unfortunately lol), and noticed that the rubber... "cushions" (for lack of a better word?) on top of the rear shocks are looking worse for wear.

I've attempted to search for the info whether this is a singular piece that can be replaced or do I have to buy a whole 'package'?

The bike was privately bought (no manual) and there is only one dealership here that will look into doing the work (major $$$). Is there a thread already posted here that I missed or does anyone have any information on replacing these?

Thank you for reading if you've made it this far, I look forward to any answers and meeting some of you!

S~

Post a picture of what you mean by the cushions being worse for wear.
My rear shocks have rubber boots that are cracked all around, little cracks but many.
Never seemed a problem.
