Hi this is my first post here, looks like a great place to be once I finally get a vespa...!

I am currently looking at a 2005 ET4 150cc (LX 150 I believe, automatic). It is in good mechanic shape, recently serviced with new tires. It has 4000 miles on the odo.

My only issue is the the side fairing (? the part right above the rear wheel) has a palm sized rash mark from the scooter hitting a fence. No dent, but some bad scrapes. Also the other side of the bike has a pretty deep ding.

I am wondering how much it is going to cost to repair the scratch and possibly the ding? And what would be a fair price on this scooter?

Thank you, and I look forward to learning more things on this forum!

I would take it to a body shop for an estimate and use that as a bargaining point. Sorry I don't know 150 values.

if it is a "one palm" sized area (size of your hand, sort of a way body shop guys measure small jobs), I would say $400 for pulling, filling, and painting (you have to paint an area much larger than the damage to blend in the paint). It isnt cheap to get body work done

Replacement of the part in question (if it is the cowl you are describing) would be MUCH MUCH more since you cant replace just a small section of the body, you have to replace the whole thing! (for reference, Vespa wanted $2000 for a GT body on a freinds scoot)

If you get a picture, and post it over at the autobodystore.com messageboard Im sure someone could tell you more approximately how much it would cost:
