Thanks for all of the replies. I do not feel so bad now with a total of five helmets. Selling the black modular if anyone is interested.

Just received my new favorite helmet the Bell Bullitt today and went for a short ride. The field of view and weight are great. Much lighter than my other helmets.

2. My 3/4 black Scorpion that I added reflective tape on to hopefully get more attention.

The second is also a 3/4 helmet the original owner of the 300 gave me when I bought the bike. It's too big for me! I have it for if/when my wife wants to ride two up with me.

I am looking into getting a full face. Not sure if Modular or not. Really, I want Orange to match my Corrazo 5.0

Not sure I have an opinion on how many helmets are too many. I guess it comes down to how many you want, how many you can afford, and how many you have room for.

Me? I just have one. A full-face modular HJC in white that I love so far as it fits and feels great. My only issue is that I think it could be just a bit more quiet, which may lead me to upgrade eventually.

My husband has two, a full face, and a 3/4. I have 1.5, a full face for me and a half helmet I share with the kids.

I have a very small noggin (52 cm, 20.5") and my XS full face is too big. The half helmet fits just right with one exception, as a youth medium it's not made deep enough from top to bottom for an adults head.

I'd be happy to add a color matched Vespa helmet to my collection, but alas, the smallest available is still too roomy for me. I would love to have one that fits properly (and can be worn in 110+ degree weather) so I'm open to suggestions.

I have 2. (excluding the unused new Arai replacement still in the box)

1 full face (for the 1200GS) and 1 open face for the Vespa.

When I went shopping for a helmet for the Vespa I had great difficulty.
I have a large cranium (61cm) and a tall head, so most flip down visors catch me midway between lower lip and chin. I went through the entire stock of a major retailer in Johannesburg and eventually the ONLY helmet that fitted my skull was the cheapest one, a VS-1 made in Vietnam.

As always I had to "panel beat" the inside with a ball-pein hammer to make place for a bump on my forehead and to round the front edge of the polystyrene shell as they tend to cut into my brow.

BTW, I only wear plain white helmets - most visible and lowest heat gain.
I am a little OCD about that.

Recently gave away 4, still have 10+. All full-face. AGV, Shoei, and Arai mostly. Going to retire a few (reaching 5 years) and may get something scooter-specific next time I'm in Europe.

I gave my NEXX helmet to a member on here. He gave it to his daughter and it fits perfectly. Glad to see it's being put to good use by the next crop of riders. 8)

What?! You need at least one per bike :-p The Nolan I'll occasionally wear on both but the Arai and AGV shall never cross paths.

Well...if you're in the habit of GIVING them away...I am looking for a full face/modular. I tend to be a size small in most helmets. PM me if you've got any. We will be in San Diego area next week for vacation. Sadly was just down in San Pedro over this past weekend. Missed an oppurtunity!

I have 2. The helmet I purchased when I purchased the scooter and the one I wear now. I regularly wash the padding so I'm not worried about sweat or bacteria.

Sorry, you missed your window (I'm a M to M/L anyways). Anything I'd have to spare now is reaching end of life so would not be any good to you.

I actually have a helmet I quite like - the Nolan N44 with the add-on chin-piece - which fits beautifully and has remarkable visibility --- but the recent spate of 100 degree plus weather we've been having (I live in southern Oregon - 100 degrees fahrenheit is close to 37 or 38 celsius which is H-O-T) has made my N44 seem like an oven at times, lately --- so I've been considering a slightly lighter weight helmet for s-l-o-w-e-r around-town riding

And this one caught my fancy. Both because it is a Nolan (and they seem to fit my skull well) - but also because of the graphics which for some reason appeal to my inner scooterista, as well as my outer one.

Have to see if I can find one in my size, now.

Hi Sacto Monkeyboy,

I sold the extra helmet locally and purchased the Bell Bulllitt Silver Flake. The list is for my current collection of helmets
