Need a medium windscreen but haven't been able to discern from the few screen threads if one is superior to the other or it doesn't really matter and both will work fine.

I am very happy with my medium Fabbri windscreen although it doesn't sits tight to the (Cherry red) plastic. It comes with a rubber molding but it doesn't make a tight seal. Water issues?
This doesn't seem to be much help so let me close by saying that the medium windscreen - Fabbri - has been great! |

Planning to order one myself from PJ's after reading comments on the Fabbri screen. The factory in Italy supposedly is closed for Summer Holidays.
It looks most simple and it does it's function. Before I finalize the order, if anyone has anything that I should know before getting it, please let me know too, cos it will have to ship quite far from the States to Jakarta. I have read that everyone use the Givi and Fabbri is happy, but I think this was some time ago. Any difference after a while? Thanks. |

We just got back from a 600km ride and my wife is in love with the Fabbri screen. Wind protection is perfect and if need be she can still see over it. She can also cruise at faster speeds without constant wind hitting her, it is so far perfect.
One extra tidbit, my helmet by the end was covered in bugs several times over (I had to stop a few times and clean it) while she barely had any hit her helmet and any that hit the windshield did not affect her seeing and easily came off. |

I live in rainy Vancouver Canada, and I have the Givi screen. I've taken it in to get cut down, because when it rains, the screen is about 12 cm too tall to see over, but I love it, cuts down the wind noise to almost nothing, I haven't used it enough to notice an increase in mpgs though.

I am too lazy/dumb to calculate MPG, but we filled up at the same time and at one stop she was at 1/2 tank while I was at a little bit under 1/2 tank.

I was also informed that my screed will be comming in. Am confirming my payment today. I really dont belive that I will be getting a screen sent all over to Jakarta. All because of the reviews here!!!
PJ&Paige have arranged for it to be packed, and the shipping cost is very reasonable. I will update again once I recieve it and have it fixed. I think, the Bug Splat indicator speaks for itself. Also, the MPG is a no brainer. Still, out of all the review, I believe this is the best screen for the MP3 in the market now. |

I already PayPal'd "PJ's", and they should have my 2 windshields en route by now!
I can't wait! |

I ordered a Fabbri from PJ's as well and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. "PJ" seems to be doing well by us folks!

Have any of you heard news about the new medium screens coming out from Piaggio?
I seem to remember someone posted something about this or replied about it in a thread. Indicating Piaggio was making a stronger medium windshield or something of that nature. |

Am in right in assuming the Fabbri doesn't have hand wind protection like the GIVI ?
My hands really suffer in the winter, unless I layer gloves. Oh Canada |

Yeppers it does, check the picture below. They are curved to deflect the wind from the hands, probably doesn't deflect all, but more than the OEM.
