we haven't got an email or text response from our friends in Kona either. Maybe there's a power outage. Hope they and Judy are safe.
Here in So Cal where there's lots of earthquake faults, there's a saying that's often used as advice on how to have a happy and long marriage: When you find a fault, don't dwell on it.

If it's Judy vs the Volcano, my money's on Judy.

Judys tough! She's on Oahu, a different island from where the volcanos are.

You guys can't get rid of me that easily! I'm five hundred miles away from the carnage. The civil defense alerts have gone off twice today. I didn't feel the 6.9 earthquake here but some people did. Kona people should be ok. The current problem over there for the Kona people will be the wind bringing the surfluric acid to places. Thankfully were not having Kona winds. We get the VOG when their blowing.My thoughts are with the Big Islanders. Thanks for thinking of me.

Glad things are OK as well Judy. The way I see it we may get winter and the occasional ice storm but are pretty safe volcano, earthquake and tsunami wise...

Just as long as Lake Ontario doesn't flood again like last year! Hope they figured it out for this summer was a mess in some places around here!

good to know Judy is ok. Hopefully nobody gets killed on the big island. I am sure some properties maybe engulfed by the lava eruptions.
The air must smell pretty interesting with sulfur compounds.
