Hi All,

I've noticed of late, my GT 200 L when at operating temp (20+ min riding) is from stationary (traffic lights..) is a bit numb on take off. Just feels like it bogs down a bit up to about 20 kph then fine. Maybe 10% off of normal eg when cold. I've just had the drive all redone probably 500km's ago and has been fine.

Any ideas?

TIA

It's likely you are noticing the change in gearing that having new rollers, belt etc brings. It actually raises the gearing slightly. You may also notice a slightly higher top speed as a bonus. But of course it can sometimes show up as slower initial take off from the lights. Of course it could be other things but probably not.

Have you ever changed the fuel and vacuum lines? If not i/d do them. Sounds like the carb might not be getting enough fuel when you open it up. Mine on my LX (carbed also) only last 4yrs. Just make sure that the lengths are the same as what you take off if you don't use a precut one. Do them regardless if it solves the problem or not. I have 48,400 on my LX and i've started to have the same symptoms. Just put in a Malossi kit ( clutch bell, variator, belt and rollers). Bike goes faster now. Good luck
