Finding a fresh scratch on your Vespa, being furious about it... Then figuring out your SO did it while getting the mower out of the shed, and not caring anymore.
Plus the lawns look great.

Yup, that's love alright! Now ask your SO to get a nice scooter cover to make it up to you.

Oh, I feel your pain.
Unfortunately I never have to worry about scratches....except the ones I inflict myself. By the way, when walking past your car with a paint scraper sticking awkwardly out of your pocket, give the car a wide berth... |

Melody, being a floor model, came with some very minor scratches when I purchased her, which were largely buffed out later. This might've been a good thing psychologically, since any subsequent physical slights would be more easily handled, although so far the biggest one is on her belly after my already-posted low-speed low-side-in-the-snow this past January. As I've noted on my bicycles, scratches and scraped can be (eventually) dealt with; it's the dents and big dings that get me the most. So far, none o' those. |

Jep...I've noticed the same thing with children (well, at least own children ) and even pets.
I can't remember which sticker it was, but I think it was a large Dumbo sticker I once had in the middle of my front fender...because the bike needed it according to my daughter. Luckily I did not see it when on the bike, would have toned down the imaginary Steppenwolf tune in my head when riding... |
