I cannot find a threaded, rear hooked pivot pin for Vespa cowls. I bought some a long time ago, but I cant recall where and cant find them anywhere. The welded, factory pivot pin is gone and someone replaced it with a bolt. Anyone know where to get the threaded replacements?

I'm looking for the same solution. I'd like to buy a commercially available re-made part, but haven't seen one. I thought of taking a piece of steel rod and cutting threads into about a half inch of one end with a nut behind it as a way to hold against the metal and then weld the base of the cowl where the other end sticks out. I've seen a fully threaded bolt with the head on the back side and a nut on the outside, bit I'd like something cleaner.
