I own a GTS250, had a 300s and now I'm going to Paris and will rent a GTS125.

Anyone on here ridden both models? Any real difference in weight, ridability? Does the GTS125 weigh less or handle better, brake worse, etc.

I'm perplexed by the small to large frame GTS transition, is it like v90 vs p200?

Yes, have a 300 but have ridden a couple of 125GTS bikes. They go ok and are just ever so slightly lighter. Don't know exactly what the weight figure is but probably 2kg's or so. The handling is just the same as the 250/300 bikes. However, the biggest difference is in the performance, acceleration etc. Not very fast but more than adequate for any sort of trip if you relax and take your time. Best cruise I found was 55mph which gave good economy of around 90mpg (UK gallon).go any faster and this drops considerably. Never tried them out for top speed but probably around 69-70mph. Have a good trip.

Sorry, posted on the wrong thread on my phone.
FWIW, I agree with everything Stromrider says, top speed is 70+ indicated , prob 65, just enough to pass anything restricted to 60mph if you have the space to do it.
Takes a hit if you have a passenger ,more so on hills.
Having said that, still got one in my garage that I'm not parting with:)
