I'm hoping this takes off as a thread like the Scooter Girls or others! Now that i'm riding again for my daily commute, there's funny little things I notice and see on my ride into work or headed home. Especially since the Sacramento region was voted as one of the worst places to drive in America!
The car that keeps creeping forward during a red light and is literally halfway through the intersection by the time the light turns green.
The people that are literally two car lengths behind you (Not that I mind this one too much but it is funny)
Today I was on 16th street in midtown Sacramento. It's a 3-4 lane one way road headed north. I was looking around at the cars around me, making sure no one was going to merge suddenly into me and my lane. I had noticed the parked bus off of the right lane and didn't think much of it until I heard the impact.
Immediatly I start rolling off the throttle and look over to see a car moving forward past the bus. They paused, I noticed most of their right review mirror on the ground. Then they sped up and drove off. A few blocks later they turned right and I saw what remained of the mirror dangling and a few scraps/small dent on the right front fender.
That's right folks, this lady hit a PARKED BUS!!!
