Modern Vespa

Just got it, 1000 miles on it total. I am a new member of this group but have joined many times with other Vespa's. I am getting ready for a 600 mile round trip to WV and wonder if anyone has found a small bag or tool bag that would work to put on the leg shield -where , maybe near the grocery hook. Velcro or zip tie it on. Otherwise I will put the one I have on the back rack rail with a zip tie. I also ordered a windscreen and a top box,-not here yet. thanks Jim

Have a look at the various tool kits sold by Cruz Tools.
They're sold by the maker as well as on Amazon, eBay, RevZilla and JP Cycles.

New 2009 MP3 with 1000 miles means to me...
Lots of needed Maintenance.
Do some research before going on a 600 mile trip.
I would not go very far if it has the Original Tires, all of the Fluids, etc...

What about the Givi tunnel bag?

If it has the original tires they're junk. Get new ones ASAP even though they might look perfectly fine.

I am going through the maintenance. Had a few low mile scooters. But a good concern. The oil may have been never changed-I have no records-it was dirty. I am going to try to track the records down through a dealer. Changed oil and replaced filters, cleaned and oiled the air filter, changing rear end oil next. It was driven each season, just not much-they had 10 bikes and scooters. I will check spark plugs. I am concerned about the tires but they are not hard and have little wear. thanks Jim
