Hi I am looking to put some Cuppini Chrome Single Tube Crash Bars on my Vespa GTS 300, they look pretty easy to fit, I see from the picture ad that they attach near the passenger foot rest, but how do they attach at the back, has any body fitted these crash bars, if so can you give me so advice how they fit at the back as I would imagine the instruction (if any) come in Italian.
Thanks
Nigel

Are these them? They attach to the holes where your lower cowl screws go. I love these bars. They keep me from dinging up the sides when I pull in and out of my garage side door.

As Abner described.

I love the minimalist style of them, and they weren't especially tricky to install, although there might be a bit of tweaking to make sure everything fits as, and where, it should.

There's a possible tradeoff between the Cuppini's "minimalist" style and the bigger, more-elaborate designs from the likes of Faco and Piaggio itself. As an anecdote, the bars did protect Melody in a low-speed, low side I took last Winter.

Cuppini Chrome single tube crashbars
So looking at the photos it would appear that back of the Chrome Crash bar fits underneath where the lower plastic trim bolts on. is that correct ?

No, it sits on the surface of it. Lower cowl piece, crash bar then screw. There is a small L bracket extending down below the bar. You can't see it by the vantage point of these photos.
