Sounds like a stupid question but I see nothing on the page stating which, and it's a fairly big difference in miles.

Example:

New Belt:
Piaggio: every 9K
MV workshohp: 9K
Greasy: 4K on the 150's, 6K~8K on the GT/GTS. because the GT/GTS are capable of higher speeds they tend to heat the belts more and thus they break down.

That's what I assumed until I noted that the recommendation for a belt change at 9,000 miles is much higher than most recommendation, but it might make sense for kilometers.

And also a large chunk of our members use kilometers, not miles, so who knows?

Yes these are miles. The chart was done by US rider and wrencher starreem using the GTS workshop manual.

Greasy is also in the US and using miles in his personal recommendations gleaned from his many years wrenching on scooters. I edited the top of the section to make this apparent.

Thanks! It was the discrepancy between Greasy's #s and the others that also caused me to wonder whether they were a mix of klicks and miles.
