Can we have a separate thread for 2016 and newer MP3 500s.

You just started it. But given the title I'll not be surprised if no one finds it.

Need to add Year on MP3/500...
That way we know if its Gilera Fuoco or Sport model which started in 2016 (Shipped late in 2015 to US)

Dancote: You sure you got a mp3 500? Your avatar shows a rider on a Burgman 650.

After the front wheels and all the body plastic, there is very little difference between the Fuoco and the new 500s. Even the add-on turn signals are the same.

Here in San Diego the new 500s are a rare thing. There are a few out there but the only one I have ever seen was on a showroom floor. The last one I saw was a new 2016 business model. I believe they will be collector items when they are no longer sold here and much in demand !!

Don't forget ABS, and "Ride by Wire" (Updated ECU with ECO Mode).
13" Front Wheels. Bike uses different Rollers, I assume because of ABS.

I have not seen anyone yet in Georgia accept mine.
I know 4 2016's were sold in late 2015, but two moved from the State, and one was returned for Severe Oil Blow...
That's why I stay nervous about mine...

Good eyes. That's me a few years ago in the Rally in the Gorge. I'll update the picture when I attend the rally with my (new to me) MP3 500.

Ride by wire is pretty much a misnomer.
The throttle cable still runs all the way back to a sensor near the engine. I still need to lube a throttle cable that gets "sticcky" over a long winter storage. AGGGHHH!

I've used On and Off "ECO Mode", better Gas Mileage with ECO Mode?
My best yet was 64 MPG on Rec Fuel 90 (Non Ethanol).

I haven't had the issue on throttle cable yet on any of my bikes.
All are stored indoors when not used, maybe that's why?

One complaint I do have is the Dam Headlights on all the MP3 Bikes.
My Vespa has never done this.

You get caught in the rain to many times, they will develop a Fog in the Lens that won't go away. You have to put them in the oven for a few minutes to separate the clear part from black to clean them, then reseal. I keep a few spares for the MP3 250 and 500 so I can do a swap and fix the ones I remove later when I have the patience and time.
