Back again...I am ordering some parts and I want to upgrade my exhaust as well since the old one is lil rusty...

After much consideration I ended up with the Scooter Mercato SR Pipe for my P200e (stock look, still keeping my spare tire and similar gains to SIP Road 2.0 at a lower cost).

Question remains: I have the 24/24 stock carb and I imagine I need to change my main jet size. I have 116 at the moment and I am located in Chicago...so I am thinking 118 or even 120? Please help so I can order all at once...(or point me in the right direction).

I have a big pile of stuff ready to be ordered and I want to save of shipping since I can buy all at once so i can start my updates thread on the build.

Thanks in advance!!!

(pic's of bef and after attached for preview of the direction I am heading [white trim photo is where I started]; for now I did a lot of under the curtains work/investigation: carb adjustment, good clean, paint, oil change, misc bulbs/screws replacement, spedo fix, electrical rework & a list of items that I need to fix-suspension/tires/rims/cdi/exhaust/re work the jets)

I'd say keep diving down the rabbit hole and do the air filter heart mod with that exhaust. Then pick up a 122 and 125 jet. My stock P200 likes the 125 main.

Noted. I planned to do the air filter mod (forgot to mention that in the thread)...but I wanted to wait for some feedback/experiences with the overall setup/plan/mod...

That being said how do you measure which jet is the correct one?

I used a CHT and a long straight stretch and watched my temps. I went 4 up for the exhaust and 2 up for the heart mod (122 main) but saw my temps climbing. So i went to the 125 and noticed no performance difference but lower temps. If you dont have wide open roads or push your scooter hard you could probably get away with a 122.

I have the same setup - SR200, 24/24 carb, and the air box mod on an otherwise stock P200. I've been running a 122 main jet ever since I previously had a BGM Big Box and performance has been fine.

I don't run wide open very much though. After seeing MJRally's response, I may try a 125 just to see if there is any difference on my bike, and to err on the side of caution temperature-wise.

Thanks! After some thinking I will leave the engine alone (besides the air box)...I will do some suspension work and just keep on sootin'

I want to preserve the reliability so I can start my long run trips later in the season.

This is the most basic of upgrades and won't hurt your reliability. Get the exhaust and 2 jets (122/125). Try the 125, if it bogs a bit use the 122. Done.

Noted. That is exactly what I just did. Thanks for the input!
