Modern Vespa

Has anybody fitted the bar end mirrors to their LX's.

My questions are...

1, The bar has a strength plate welded in the end.
i) did you remove that and use an expansion style bar end
ii) did you drill and tap it and use a bolt in version.

2, Is there a specific grommet you used to cover the old positions holes, be it Vespa or a generic electrical one an electrician would use.

I found i needed the original mirrors to ride comfortably in traffic so ditched the oberons. Love the bar ends though.

I'll be changing my grips too as they have built in metal ends, so will just get open ones when I do.

I put these on my GTS and they fit perfectly. Fitted them using the Vespa barend screws and did not use the expanding plugs they came with.

I put the shorties on my LX. I like them and their easy to install.

cant find anything decent for my ET4 guess I have to go bar end route. Any should fit on Bar End right?
