Granddad can this be my scooter to go out on the other one's to wide said 6½ year old granddaughter and can I have some pink bits on it.
So I now have to put pink handlebar streamers and a pink basket on after fitting the pink top box on and mesh seat cover on the Honda Bali Sj100

I love taking the Vespa out for errands.

Picked up hers at Philadelphia Scooters (if you're on here THANK YOU! she loves it!) so now we have two red GTS 300s.

Took advantage of a cool, cloudy day.
I grew up in Abilene, Texas which, until 1978, prohibited sales and public consumption of alcohol (if you want to read some interesting local history, look at the Wikipedia article on Impact, Texas).

Buffalo Gap was a small crossroads a few miles from town and was well-known locally as a place where you could order a beer with your dinner. The town had a German-style biergarten/restaurant with pretty good food and an outdoor courtyard for dining under the stars.

Today, Abilene is no longer dry and the old Deutschlander is a catfish joint (where you can still get a beer). Buffalo Gap is now better known for the Perini Ranch, a James Beard winning steakhouse. Tom Perini and his wife have cooked for Rachel Ray, the Today Show, and other well known venues. They were scheduled to cook for the Bushes and were at the White House on 9/11.

I have to say, that little Liberty takes advantage of all 155ccs. I can peg the throttle and maintain a steady 62 even on a slight uphill stretch, which allows me to take short trips out of town without getting run over.

There's an Oxcart not too far from my house; I may try to get a photo with it yet this summer. There's some logistics that need to be sorted prior to doing so though.

I lived on Wagon Wheel from in '11/ '12, then off Cat Claw for a while. Loved the Deutschlander. And that dive saloon with all the Airman hats on the walls.

They definitely look good, but due to the tread pattern, they are treacherous on rain-grooved roadways and squirm around too much when riding on them to ever be comfortable on those kinds of road surfaces.

On smooth pavement, however, they are quite good.

What's your seat of the pants comparison between the Liberty and Primavera so far?

Liberty is light, flat step thru for easy carry, easier/cheaper to fix if dropped. More difficult with accessories, not as smooth on bumps, less range/tank full. 40%(abt) cheaper. Primavera was about $20/year more to insure than the GTS.

The biggest difference for me is the ergonomics. This varies per individual. My eyes prefer the Liberty. Carrying items on the floorboard, Liberty. My arse and throttle hand prefer the Primavera.

A close call!

Gee! as I was about to leave, I confused my Vespa 300 with that ZX14 Kawasaki parked next to it yesterday at the coffee shop, and almost rode off on the wrong bike.

You can see how that could be possible to do, considering the uncanny resemblance between the two...

With 200 hp on tap with a ZX14R, you seldom have time to admire it's sublime ugliness.

I used to own a ZX14, though my example was a first generation model with only 190 hp. My wife, 'Trixie', would use it to run out and buy cat food now and then...

Your white one is less angular. Smoother looking. I'm not a big fan of the folded, sharply angled bikes these days.

Neither am I.

I much prefer a more 'organic' appearance, with a flowing form in pleasing proportions....like my Vespa has, in spades.
