I'm usually heading out in the very early morning heading East, so this is the view when I'm just setting out. It's a time of happiness.

Returning home from my rides in the early to mid-mornings usually involves heading West, so the sun is at my back and I have to worry about oncoming drivers being blinded by the rising sun! 🌅

Just seeing that sign gets my adrenalin flowing. Love the twisties!

Very early AM ride before the rain starts. Weather app said I had 40 minutes before it moved in - I got an hour's worth of dry weather. And I got to eat a nice NYC bagel outside.

Sometimes I like to pretend my Liberty is an X-wing and my top case is R2D2 riding in the back. "Shad, try and increase the power...".

Morning coffee. Started with overcast skies and tiny amount of drizzle, but things looked brighter once I had coffee in hand. A general rule in life, I suppose.

Celebrating finally hitting 6K miles on my 2021 Liberty.

I have only about half of that on mine, but I'm working on it!

It was so quiet and peaceful in the early AM on this road, so I stopped to observe the nearby osprey nest

I'm curious--did any of the ospreys fly down to observe the nearby Piaggio scooter rider?

Oh wait, he did!

The parent and fledgling(s) observed me from the nest. He/she started calling out that very distinct osprey cry, so i feared i was alarming them and left. This particular nest is built very close to the road.

I'm familiar with those distinctive Osprey cries and calls - have heard quite a few of them here in Oregon, both around rivers and lakes which they frequent, and also portions of the Oregon coast. They tend to be surprisingly vocal birds, so I'm guessing that what you heard may not have been calls of alarm - but simply the normal every-day Osprey vocalizations. Next time you're riding around there, if you bring some binoculars along, you might get some cool visual treats as well

Out in the rural back-roads outside of the small southern Oregon town where I live. The water source visible behind my Liberty is a local Irrigation Ditch, fed by reservoirs filled with the water from mountain streams and rivers.

Yes, actually, I enjoy bird photography as well. Here's an osprey returning with catch. Pretend the fish is a scooter and it qualifies for the gallery. LOL

This is the abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center in Kings Park, NY. An amazing place to explore (I wouldn't trespass the buildings like others do), and incredibly, a New York State Park.

Visited family in Viterbo Lazio region. Saw the Pope's Palace and the 30 meter tall 5100kgs Saint Rosa monument that gets carried by 100 men thru the streets
