My wife and I finally entered the vespa world this week!

While we have had for nearly a month, it was at the Dealership after a couple of days for over 3 weeks, so just now getting it back.

Great looking scooter, just curious what made you choose the 50cc over the 150cc ? I'm still looking for my first scooter

It's a long story. Maybe in hindsight we should have got the 150 as it wasn't much more, but it would have had to be special ordered and right now we are down from 3 to 1 car with our other new vehicle delayed due to Covid. As such we needed something in stock and ready now. Where we live 95% of all sales are 50cc, so it's hard to find 150cc with only 1 dealer. The only 150cc in stock was something we didn't like, a green 60's racing edition.

We will use this as a weekend fun run type of vehicle to go for coffee, local grocery, etc. Some mods will happen, but it isn't a daily driver.

I mounted a new set of white wall tires on my GTS 300 today, and it came out way better than I expected.

New leather bag foe the Worherspoon. Super happy with it. Includes 6 leather straps with buckles. I used 1 to hold the front carrier in the down position and 4 to strap the bag to the Vespa.

Less than half the price of having someone try to locally make it (Edmonton, AB, Canada) and he knows what needs to be done to get it to fit.

Great views and rad scoots. It doesn't get much better than that.

The pilot for my private jet called in sick today, so I had to ride the GTS to my simple summer cabin at the countryside.

(Not my house, just goofing around... )

I sped ahead of the group to snap this pic from today's ride to Wickenburg, AZ.. We were lucky to have a rare sub 85° day. I was cold the whole way there, and didn't break a sweat once in 200 miles. Beautiful!

I finally have time to enjoy take her out riding (my New toy (30 miles on the clock)), after months of working.

out and about trying to debug a carb issue on a newly back on the road 42 yr old scooter.

First trip to work and back on the 150. Only 80 miles round trip, but most fun I have ever had on a work commute. This thing is a blast!

Long commutes can be pretty great when you're able to do it on a Vespa!

That's a slick little 50. I'd ride that.
