My Copper plated 1964 VNB in the shade.

Love that copper colour. I presume you have a thick clear gloss coat over it so you don't need to get the Brasso out every weekend.

Morning coffee time, at the park.

After plating, I spent almost 40 hours polishing it.
Then yes...I had it clear coated.

I kind of randomly just picked a speedometer app from the App Store. It works well enough.

On most days, the crack of dawn, or even earlier, is the only time I have to sneak in a ride. I certainly don’t mind.

From today's ride...

Season Opener Ride along the Minnesota River in St Paul before it flows into the Mississippi River. Our riding season is relatively short here in Minnesota.

This Vespa is always parked outside a nearby bank. I really like the classic look, though I'm not sure of the year or model. Perhaps a 60s vintage 150?

Based on the quality of the photos in this posting stream, some of you guys or gals
are professional photographers. No compaints, keep them coming.

Here are the give aways>

1. Excellent use of depth of field and lighting.
2. Amazing backgrounds in low light sundown/sunup or night.

I'm definitely not a pro (and not making an assumption your meant me, just commenting in general) but I have found great joy in combining my love of photography with my various hobbies over the years. They especially go hand-in-hand with technical post such as a bunch of my wiki tutorials here, as well as on other sites. Yea, some are carefully planned, and some are just happenstance, as shown below from 16 years ago.

I love this shot, a great pet portrait and taken with your dog sat inside the (No) pets carrier, brilliant!

Thanks, but not my dog. I was taking photos when I first bought the LX (see link below), and a lady with the dog was asking me about the scoot. I was showing her how much room was under the seat, saw the sticker, and asked if I could borrow her dog. 😉 Crystal Waters picked up the story for Vespa’s blog on their website, and the term “pet carrier” entered into our vocabulary!

Vespa at Roman Amphitheatre

Here is a photo of my Vespa PX that I took this morning.

The ruin behind is the Roman Amphitheatre of Capua dating back to the 1st century B.C. Interestingly, it was also the first gladiatorial combat school and where Spartacus trained and fought. And as many people know, he later escaped from here with a band of other slaves to start Rome's Third Servile War.
