I have a2009 vespa lx 150 that I got new, and now have 14,300 miles on it. I've never changed the spark plug, so what is the recommendation on changing it, even though it still runs well. Never had a valve check done on it. What is the recommendation on when to have that done.

You're overdue a new plug and a valve check.

You are likely to notice the engine running even better after doing basic maintenance as recommended in the manual.

Your fuel economy will improve about 7-10% once that maintenance is done.

Recommend dropping the motor if you're doing both of these. And might want to replace the plug cap while you're in there as well.
