Hello good people.

Looking for some perspective on a problem that doesn't seem to be possible but is. I have been working on a Star Deluxe LML equivalent of a px150 and recently it seems that when I pull in the clutch the whole (cam) shaft moves resulting in the flywheel rubbing against the grill on the opposite side of the engine. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

From my memory I can't recall there being any circlip or means by which the shaft is held in position apart from being tapped through the engine into place. What would cause it to move like this except some major internal weakness inside the engine?

Any perspective would be appreciated.

Clutch side main bearing is on its way out, has too much slide float.

Yes, it is likely it's crap!

Cranks are a common poorly made & weak component
