Wanted to take a spin today before we reach 98-100 degrees again tomorrow and the rest of the week. It's a balmy 85 this afternoon.

Sitting here stopped about halfway through a 50-miler to get a Diet Coke. Even after 9 months of ownership, I'm still amazed just how beautiful the GTS 300ie is.

I would take 98 and sunny over 59 and rainy any day. But 59 and rainy is much better weather for get work done inside the house.

That's the best thing about Vespas, for some reason we just can't stop looking at them! That last turn around as you walk away, or going outside just to stare at it for a while. Don't know what it is but it's true.

And you are totally right (and unbiased, of course) in your description of your GTS 300ie - it is totally beautiful. There is something classic and understated about the silver color, I don't know what (je ne sais quoi) ... but it's gorgeous.

I think my favorite photo is the one with the Diet Coke. I wish I knew why

I'm just the opposite. Once the temperature gets into the 80s I become a lethargic rider. I almost always prefer the cooler, gray days to ride.
