Michelin will inflate the cost of its motorcycle and scooter tires by eight per cent in January, according to a press announcement.

The increase coincides with rising oil prices, which some are blaming for the increase. All we can tell you is that your dealer will pay at least eight per cent more for Michelin rubber next year, and you'll likely get shafted for more than that.

If you were considering a new set of Michelins next spring, now might be the time to spring for them.

I just bought 3 new scooter tires this week so I should be alright. I find the tires to be cheap it's the labor that kills me.

Yeah, why can't prices stay the same. Companies shouldn't be allowed to make a profit.

Expect prices for polyester (there goes Greasey's new wardrobe for '08,) ink, crayons, bubble gum, dishwashing liquids, deodorant, eyeglasses, records, car tires, ammonia, and heart valve to go up as well.

Records?!?! As in put the needle on the record? Is this flashback Sunday, or are you psychic and telling me that I should wait until spring to put my vinyl collection on e-bay?
