Guess I'm lucky as I have a ResMed and they are not part of the recall. One thing that sort of suck is I'm a side/stomach sleeper which makes a CPAP machine hard enough to use. For me to sleep on my side and have the mask stay on it has to be on my left which still hasn't fully recovered since my accident. As result I often do not use it though I know all too well I should.
I have the ResMed 10 Elite which is a pretty good unit. It has a built in humidifier and warms the air that goes through the tube. It has built in 3g that is included and it uploads your results daily and gives you a score based on a number of criteria. |

I was diagnosed with pretty serious apnea a few years ago and had to use a CPAP machine. However once I lost nearly 100 pounds the snoring/apnea became a once in a blue moon occurrence (mostly after having a few drinks).
If you are using a CPAP, make sure to get one that has a water reservoir. Keep it clean and it will keep your sinuses from drying out and giving you an all-day runny nose. A few companies also make very compact 'travel CPAPs' that are a godsend if you fly or spend a lot of time away from home.
