Shocked that the bill wasn't higher. After six hours all problems addressed but still have to return next week to have the windshield washer reservoir replaced.

I wouldn't let Midas work on my lawn mower.

Don't see the BV as being that much of a speed bump or different than the GTS he already has. The CB500 is a motorcycle so would not only offer a higher top end it would be a different experience.

So did you settle on the BV?

That stuff won't be green by the time it arrives....or at least the original green.

I would. At least this one particular Midas. The manager is known and loved by his huge customer base, their repairs are solid and he's fixed many things for me over the years and "forgotten" to charge me labor. I could go on, but let's say I'm completely satisfied with this shop's work and ethos.

So far we have one vote for the BV and one for the CB500X.

I vote for the BV, for the utility of it. Carry groceries & stuff. Or pack it for touring and ride across the country.

Some humor:

I was driving with my friend. We come to a red light and he speeds up and whips right through it. I start freaking out "Hey man, your going to get us killed!" He replies "Relax, my brother drives like this." We come to another red light and he blazes right through. "You're going to get arrested or get us killed!" "Relax this is how my brother drives." We come to a green light he stops dead looking both ways. "Dude, it's green you can go." "Nah man, my brother might be coming the other way."

I would have happily chatted with you but we took the kids to the shooting range and lunch to celebrate the first day of summer vacation.

I vote for the CB500X for the reasons previously stated.
