Just got one for my daughter's daily ride to school--have ridden it myself maybe 25-30 miles. BIG upgrade from her Buddy 50--will keep up with us on the highway doing about 60 when needed. I haven't gotten into mods or maint. yet like I did on my previous MP3 500s, but I do plan on doing a few minor adjustments like a safety/brake flasher mod and garage door opener tied to the high-beam. Other than the filler neck being totally oddball (it's got a green plastic sleeve insert that makes it all but impossible to judge how full you've filled the tank without completely withdrawing the pump handle), there's nothing to complain about yet. I'm 6'3" and while I wouldn't want to drive cross country on it, I can sit comfortably for a while scooting across town; my daughter is 5'5" and while the seat sits SLIGHTLY higher than her Buddy, she can still flat-foot it at stops. Is there something specific you'd like to know about or specific impressions you're hoping to hear?
I had one years ago, No problems with it. Bigger wheel base and it rode like a dirt bike. My only complaint was i didn't have any room under the seat. No pet carrier. Very dependable. Mine was a "03 one. Don't know what the newer ones are like
Thx for the replies. I picked mine up yesterday. Needs a good break in / oil change in a few weeks then i will put up a mini report and review of this sweet ride ... Mine is in mat grey finish (S) of course
