My yesterday's post with the accident write up in this link:

Afternoon drive...got hit and crashed

That being said photos of the damage. Biggest question is the frame. After I hit 2 curbs frame seems to be twisted...
1. rear tire has a lean which before it was perfect 90*
2. engine mounting (front bushing area with the bolt) has a gap now as seen in the picture...before it was flush
3. battery area bracket-on of the weld points popped exposing the approx. amount of the twist that i might now have on the body of the scoot

Let me know if I am seeing it correctly and if its fixable or the scoot is done...

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear about your accident.
Did you have collision insurance?
I've got a small trailer that I use to move my scooters, if you need to borrow it let me know. I'm pretty close by.
There's a guy named Frank in Elmhurst, (2 towns over) with a lot of large frames.
Maybe you could swap out the motor and new parts onto one of his old p125s.
Let me know if you want his #

Thanks! I actually bought this scoot from Frank. I did file a claim with Progressive so we will see...

Thank you for the offer! I managed to get the scoot onto my friends pickup and brought it home.

I will add to this story later on...

You got smacked hard, for sure.

In addition to any frame damage, I'm guessing the fork is toast, the shift tube is bent along with other possible damage inside the headset, plus the kickstart, at a minimum. Crying or Very sad emoticon

In addition to Frank (whom I know of only as a guy who puts lots of bikes on craigslist), you could also look at picking up a cheap Stella, then put your motor in that and eventually use the fork to do a disc brake conversion once you have another Vespa frame.

We will see how this goes...adjustor needs to come out. If possible (and if its a total loss) i would entertain an idea of a buy back and getting parts moved to something else.

Thx for th idea!
