Years ago when I took my course it was on a 150cc scooter with everyone else using the small 300cc motorcycles. Everyone should be going at a slow speed while completing the drills.
I am more concerned about how I would feel about my Vespa after the class rather than during (if I used the motorcycle). I have decide to use my Vespa even though it's only an LX50. If I "upgrade" I would probably go to a bigger/faster Vespa not a motorcycle.

Before you go, check with the class instructor whether or not you can bring your own scooter. Also, you may not be able to qualify for a full motorcycle license on a 50cc.

Good luck & have fun!

Thank you, instructions starts tonight so I'll do that. At CA DMV they made it sound like it was an M1 license.
