Finally worked around the reCAPTCHA issue and was able to register after 2 weeks. Two weeks agoI bought a 2007 GTS250 with 7100 miles. P.O. was second owner and a mechanic at a local Toyota dealer. He had extensive records and the scooter is exceptionally clean for the year. He moved up to a GTV300.
I am 73 and have been riding for over 50 years.
Just into scootering last year with a Genuine Buddy 125 that made way for the GTS when m wife decided to ride with me again.
I have put about 300 mi on her over the last two weeks and am getting really comfortable. Ordered kit to service variator from Scooter West and will do that next week. Tires are 4 years old so will change them soon. Will go with something fairly soft and sticky since I won't put heavy mileage and I would rather have handeling than long tire life.
My last two bikes before the Buddy were a '66 Triumph 500 that I kept 25 years and was replaced with by an '02 Monster 620 I kept till last year when hand pain moved me to twist and go scooters.
I truly appreciate all of the information available on the forum.

Tonight I typed reCAPCHA in the box and it took it. Registered from my iPad so it wasn't an Apple issue. I had been doing it the same way before. Maybe I just wore it down
