I have not found any BAD countries, but have encountered a few unfriendly people in the Bahamas. I should have just sent the money and stayed home. Although, scootering into the neighborhoods was fun.

I've been privileged to visit more than 80 countries and all 50 states. We have lived in the Philippines, Kenya and Germany. Favorites include Brazil, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, Italy, Kenya, the Netherlands, the Seychelles, Belize, and, of course, Australia.

Like Jess, I feel blessed to be so well traveled and am reluctant to nominate any "worsts". That said, I won't be looking for a summer home in the Sudan, Somalia or Djibouti.

I forgot Texas!

I haven't traveled much outside the US, but I have probably seen more of the US than most Americans.

I have crossed the country by train and by car. I prefer Amtrak over flying.

Some favorites:
Alaska (by boat)
Portland
California coast (especially Mendocino and Big Sur)
New York City
Cooperstown, NY (and not just for the baseball stuff)
National Parks (too many to mention here)
New England, particularly Boston (Fenway Park!!) and Providence
Las Vegas
Palm Springs

Most exotic locations visited:
Club 33, the secret private club at Disneyland
The basement at the Baseball Hall of Fame -- they must own just about EVERYTHING having to do with the sport, no matter how obscure. (PM me if you are a baseball geek and want to know more!)

But it just turns out I made it back just as this thread was being exhausted. Anyone really want to know where I've been??
