I've seen one like this recently that went in the $3500 region but was running. It'd depend on how much it would take to get it running-fresh gas and oil only or rusty gas tank needing cleaned/replaced, etc. At $2500 it'd be a decent deal though.

i call BS...

if FL, there would be surface rust on the air box lid and the flywheel shroud for sure. i don't care where it was stored.

yes, low mileage, but not 12... maybe 1200...

well documented, yes.

now, here's what i think. you buy this bike you're gonna need:
fresh tires, new tubes, new rims, most likely brakes too. you'll need to clean the gas tank, carb and tap and then run a new fuel line. most likely you'll need to recable it, too. the wiring will need attention due to corrosion at the contact points. the seals on the motor will go. maybe not right away, but you can bet that they'll fail at the most inopportune time.

so you're looking at dropping an easy 1000~1500 into it on parts and labor to make it reliable and roadworthy. i'd say it's worth 2500~3000 and truth be told i'd try and pick it up at 2000 (or less) and not go over 2800.

best,
