It's down to either the Piaggio or the Vespa. Throw me a bone here. I have found little information online regarding the Piaggio and parts for either make. I have been riding small motorcycles for many years and do my own servicing. Is the dealer (dealer) the only source for parts? Also, does the Piaggio BV200 or BV250 have a carburetor? Blokes, your info. and advice would really help me make a decision.

post script: does the Piaggio BV 250 have a belt like the Vespa or an "automatic transmission" as several dealer sites suggest?

Both the BV200 and BV250 have a carb. They are also both automatics like the Vespas.
