Modern Vespa

Well, with temperatures hovering over 100 I'd have to say that it really sucks to be out here in Riverside right now. I'll be buckling under pressure this week and starting our own version of photo tag. Bring your cameras you guys.
We meet at 7:00pm at the Royal Falconer in the hot steamy center of down town Riverside and leave around, but not exactly at 8:00pm. From there, we'll try to avoid trouble and end up at Back to the Grind for coffee, tea or me.

Looks like I missed out when I cut out last week, but certainly do appreciate the hand. It's hard to image an encounter with The Man, rented or otherwise without Sandy's presence. If Mickey managed that confrontation it must have included some inducement since none of you apparently ended up in stripes. Can hardly wait to see what's next. Certainly don't want to miss out on another steamy, fly infested night ride with my fellow Stingers. 8)

The rent-a-cop pretty much yelled at Allen. When I grabbed the guy by the arm to turn him around and talk to me, he freaked and yelled at me to not touch him. I need to carry pepper spary again. . . the kind that STREAMS, not sprays btw. Been there with the spray kind and that stuff sucks. For one thing, it blows back into your face, and it lacks knock down power. Too bad expandable police batons are considered a felony here in California.

Geez! I'm sorry I missed out. I've never been pepper sprayed before - directly or indirectly. I always love experiencing something new in life - never a dull moment with this gang. Spock can't wait until you are packing! I'll stand downwind during the confrontation and open my eyes like this .

And YET AGAIN another brush with the law and I wasn't around. Seems you may need me there to REPEL the law as opposed to attracting it.

Oh yeah and where are the pics of the well dressed riders?

No pics this week. The Schades and crew didn't show up at the Falconer until 9:30 that evening. We didn't get out of there until 10:30, and Brian's cousin had to be back in Pasadena by 11:30. Needless to say it was a short ride, and I had a lot to drink that night waiting.
Oh, and I met the new vespa tech for Vespa Riverside that night. That guy Paul, that drove the van for Swerve n Curve quit for the 5th time now.
