How did you do that? I just bought mine not even 2 weeks ago.

you have to be within 12 days of purchase, call apple care at 1-800-694-7466. have your receipt handy, they need a ton of numbers off it. the number i gave you will have a tech support guy on it, but they will transfer you to the refund people. tok about 20 minutes on hold though (must be lots of people calling in).

Not hating, but 8G and 16G seems a little weak for a product touting wi-fi video capabilities.

I'll hold on to my 30 gig video until it breaks in about 2 years, then buy the discounted iPod touch once the iPod ESP comes out..."touching is sooo last year. Just think of the song and it'll play!"

16g is weak as anything, like yeah ya get wifi etc but really until they beat the 30g i have already i tink i will stick with my old school video ipod

I just bought a 30 gig iPod four days ago. I had a feeling the new ones were just around the corner. After having a quick look at the new line up, I'm happy to report that I am not at all disappointed with my purchase. There's really nothing in the new line up that I would rather have, but I think the new Nano's look pretty neat.

love my 30g i dont go anywhere without it. I really cant see the touchscreen being easy to maintain etc keep clean

That sounds like a curse to me. Think of all those songs stuck in your head and then you would actually have to listen to them!

I dunno. I actually got quite excited when I realised I had Sailor's "Glass of Champagne" on my iPod the other day. Very special moment.

Apple's price policy sucks!

In september 2006 I bought a 2 gen 8 Gig Nano and paid 259EUR ($353).

Now a 80 Gig Ipod Classic costs 249EUR ($340).

What the f*** ?!!!

And why are you paying less for a 8 Gig with video than the old 8 Gig one without?? +60EUR (+$82)

Why had IPOD shy'd away from an FM receiver? I realize the plan is to get you to buy their download music, but don't people still listen to the radio? I was hoping this was it.
