This project took a while. I baked the original lens by mistake. These are 5.75 inch lights but I had a lot of cutting to do. What do you guys think?

I'll be painting the Vespa during the winter months thinking of a dark gray color or light beige

Nice!

I have a few questions:
- Do you have any pictures of what you had to trim?
- Part # of the Harley headlight?
- How does the light output look?
- Are these HID or LED bulbs? If HID, any battery issues?

Paint it black, add lots of chrome, and swap the Piaggio badge for a H-D shield. That'll perplex 'em.

Hi Anndee, I haven't had any issues with the battery. I don't have a part number I just searched "5.75 Harley led headlights". These led lights are very bright at night without the high beams. I'll share some pics if you'd like but I don't have many. Also if you'd like pics of the light hitting a wall at night I'll do that for you if you'd like.

Sorry bluecloud I don't have a build thread. I do owe you one, you helped me discover my exhaust problem.

Edit:
Btw I bought them for $34 prime

They also sell the blackout headlights which would probably look sick with the right color combination.

So what is the diameter of a stock Vespa headlight? This might be the decider of LX vs LXV

OK so stock Vespa is a bit larger?

Is that what i see?

LXV doesn't have much depth.

There is a Primavera usually parked in my street i'll wander down with a rule

Edit Laughing emoticon It is a Sprint

hahaha, me 2. i baked my original headlight and fucked the lens cover up. so i had to buy another headlight and went for this instead. Oh man, getting it installed with the correct angle is a nightmare, its still pointing slightly up, in this video, my headlight was only on at 1m44s mark. normal days, i just on my halo and its bright enough.

I am in the process of 3d printing the headlight housing for this

By the way, did you also bake open your new Led headlight?

Nice scooter! I did bake the new LED open since I didn't need the lens on that. Are your indicators led?

Also, I wonder if the new Primavera light could be retrofitted to an older GTS: External inline image provided by member with no explanatory text
